Join us for Feria 2025 at Winthrop University for a Spanish and French speaking, writing, and spelling competition for your middle and high school students of all levels!
Feria FSC is a competition for middle and high school students of Spanish and French in the areas of Timed Writing, Impromptu Speaking, Spelling Bee, and reading (for beginners).

Select 16 students! Fill out a registration form. Go to our payment portal to register your team! Registration deadline is January 29, 2025.
$30 per team and $11 per student (includes on campus lunch).

Students are required to have a 2.O G.P.A. for the grading period preceding the competition passing at least all but one class.
Levels / Categories: Each participant will be placed into one level and one category:
Levels: 1, 2, 3, 4, AP (corresponds to participant's current Spanish class)
Categories:
(A) Participants who have learned Spanish/French exclusively in the traditional classroom.
(B) Participants with extensive language experience at school (immersion students).
(C) Participants with extensive experience at home or in a Spanish/French-speaking environment (heritage speakers).
(D)Students reared and educated in a Spanish/French-speaking environment (native speakers).
