Dr. Berry enjoys teaching students of all levels and has spent significant time working abroad in a variety of classrooms and professional settings. Her work in countries such as the Dominican Republic and Guatemala fuels her passion for experiential learning, and she is particularly interested in creative reflection techniques that prepare future teachers to work with diverse populations.

In addition to teaching courses in the Education Core department, she teaches Gifted and Talented endorsement courses and leads the EDCO 395: Culturally Diverse Teaching Experiences in the Dominican Republic trip each May. Dr. Berry joined the Winthrop family in 2017, and she enjoys spending her free time living in Charlotte, working with her church, exploring yoga studios, and trying to cook a new dish each week.
