Dr. Miranda Sigmon earned her doctorate degree from Virginia Tech. Before entering higher education, she taught elementary school and worked as a literacy coach. Her research interest include reading-writing connections and student motivation related to literacy. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with family.
