Immunization Requirements

 Patient Portal

ALL students residing and attending class on-campus must fully satisfy Winthrop’s immunization requirements by July 15th for Fall and December 1st for Spring. Incoming residential students may not sign up for move-in until immunization compliance is met. Failure to meet immunization compliance by the first day of classes will result in an immunization hold and students may incur a non-refundable $100.00 Non-Compliance Fee applied to your student account. This fee is avoidable.

To complete the Winthrop University Immunization requirements, the first step is to create a Patient Portal account using either Firefox or Safari browsers. You must complete the required forms, enter your immunization dates, and upload your immunization documentation. Students who received their vaccines in South Carolina may already see their immunization data pre-populated in the Portal. It is the student's responsibility to ensure all required data is provided and forms are completed.

The attached Immunization Information sheet (pdf - 170 KB), gives detailed directions and information on the CDC requirements and recommendations for vaccines.

Paper documents will NOT be accepted. Documentation must be

uploaded and forms completed in the Patient Portal.
