Transportation Information for Off-Campus Appointments

York County Access

York County Access provides public transportation for residents of York County and the City of Rock Hill (including Winthrop University students). York County Access is operated by the York County Council on Aging, and represents a cooperative effort between York County and the City of Rock Hill. York County Access is not a service of Winthrop University.

This service provides transportation to and from essential destinations such as doctors' appointments, pharmacy, etc. for York County residents.

Be sure to schedule your ride at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Trips inside York County are $2.50 one-way. Trips outside York County will be determined on an individual basis, and will require an additional fare. Be sure to have exact change.
  • To reserve a ride, call 803/327-6694 and select Option 2 from the main menu.
  • Clover residents may call 866/607-1910 to schedule a ride.
  • Please inform the scheduler when you call if you have special needs.
  • Priority will be given to riders who need transportation to medical appointments and other essential services.
  • The scheduler will arrange the times you will be picked up and returned home.
  • Please call as soon as possible to cancel your ride if your travel needs change.
